We have a modern, well-equipped grinding shop capable of grinding cylinders and shafts to fine tolerances, internal and external.
Apart from the usual steels, cast and chilled cast irons, we can grind finishes on tungsten carbide, chrome, nickel and copper.
Amongst the items that we can grind and hone are the following:- Press tool punches and dies.
- Mould cores and cavities.
- Shafts and bearing housings.
We offer a service to refurbish many types of machine spindles by either plating, sleeving and then regrinding to tolerances of 0.005 metric.
